Financial Aid

The Player Development Fund (PDF) provides financial aid to BYC members who do not have the financial means to cover the full cost of tuition. Up to full tuition may be awarded to BYC members in need. Families with two players in the same household may also apply for aid for each child. Aid is awarded on two factors: (1) need (2) availability of funds. Players in grades 9th-12th must hold an overall GPA of 2.2 and players in grades 5th-8th must hold a “C” average. Players must submit their academic transcript and/or letter of recommendation. PDF also supports general player programming such as tutoring, mentorship, health and wellness, and college readiness workshops. Donations to the Player Development Fund are Tax Deductible through BYC Elite Performance LLC.

Athletes in 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th grade must hold a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.2 to be eligible for aid. If the athlete is in 5th, 6th, 7th, or 8th grade he must maintain a “C” average to be eligible for aid.

Families receiving financial aid are required to volunteer during the season with team activities or committees that support the direction of the club.
