Getting Started: NCAA & NAIA Eligibility
Before you can be recruited, you must register with the appropriate eligibility centers.
Recruiting Success Checklist
Follow these key steps to increase your chances of being recruited:
Grades 8–9
☐ Focus on academics: build strong study habits
☐ Begin tracking your GPA and core courses
☐ Start building a highlight reel from game and training footage
☐ Set social media accounts to public and clean up digital presence
Grade 10
☐ Register with the NCAA Eligibility Center
☐ Take the PSAT or Pre-ACT
☐ Begin researching colleges and football programs
☐ Continue to develop highlight videos
☐ Ask your coaches to evaluate your progress
Grade 11
☐ Take the SAT or ACT
☐ Contact coaches: email, DM, send your highlights
☐ Attend unofficial visits and college camps
☐ Maintain your grades and core course load
☐ Create a recruiting profile
Grade 12
☐ Finalize registration with NCAA/NAIA Eligibility Center
